Celebrate Hawaiian Culture at the Ulupo Hoike June 9th

You are invited to the 2007 Ulupo Hoike on June 9th. The event will start at 9 am and run until 2 pm. It will celebrate Hawaiian culture and honor Kumu John Lake. There will be an awa ceremony, Hawaiian music, hula, cultural demonstrations, exhibits, games and a fund-raising ono imu-cooked Hawaiian lunch for the Kailua Hawaiian Civic Club. The event is free and all are welcome to attend. Come and check out the progress of the restoration of the Ulupo Heiau complex. Parking will be available at the churches next to the Windward YMCA.
